Handcrafted in Mexico from sustainably harvested olive veneer that is beautifully sun-bleached. The doors fo this buffet are feature patchworked bleached milpa. Milpa wood is primarily sourced from cornfields in Mexico where farmers buried the tree stumps to make way for planting. Buried underground the wood develops its own spectacular patina and is then sun-bleached. Due to the natural wood veneer, variation is to be expected. We believe this only adds to the beauty of each individual piece. |
