the maidstone buffet

Handcrafted in Mexico from sustainably harvested olive veneer that is beautifully sun-bleached. The doors for this buffet are feature patchworked bleached wood. Wood is primarily sourced from cornfields in Mexico where farmers buried the tree stumps to make way for planting. Buried underground the wood develops its own spectacular patina and is then sun-bleached. Please note variation is to be expected. We believe this only adds to the beauty of each individual piece.
